Akshaya District Office Started in 2007 and is situated in Civil Station Kuyilimala. In Idukki, 132 Akshaya Centres are functioning in 52 Panchayath and 2 Municipalities and providing various Services like E district, Aadhaar, Kiosk Banking, Online Payment services, etc. Edamalakudy is the first tribal Panchayath in Idukki District in the middle of the forest. There are no basic infrastructure facilities like roads, electricity, sanitation, and hospitals. But ADPO started the Akshaya Centre in Societykudy in Edamalakudy G.P. We conducted 3  UID camps at Edamalakudy and distributed 700 laminated e-Aadhaar. We also conducted 300 RSBY registrations.

ADPO constitutes staff strength of 7, which includes 1 District Project Manager, 1 Akshaya Coordinator, 1 Project Assistant, 2 Block Coordinators, 1 Data Entry Operator, and 1 Office Assistant. The district office also acts as a point of contact and public information center for various services through Akshaya.
