District office situated at Aandamukkam near PSC office. District office functions with 7 staffs,DPM,APC(G),Block Co ordinators (3 Nos.). ADPO facilitates and coordinates with 197 live Akshaya centres.
Achievements
1. Expansion of Aadhaar Enrollment Services: Initiated Aadhaar enrollment in Alappuzha District, which has now expanded to all districts in Kerala with 187 Akshaya e-centers functioning as Aadhaar enrollment stations.
2. Online Scholarship Services: Launched online e-grantz scholarship services for students, starting in Alappuzha District and later extending to all districts in Kerala.
3. Top Performer in Insurance Services: Alappuzha District has consistently ranked as the top performer for New India Assurance services among all Akshaya centers since 2016.
4. Digital Kuttanad Program: Collaborated with the District Administration to reissue lost documents, including Aadhaar, to flood-affected residents under the “Digital Kuttanad” program in 2020.
5. Citizen Services for Differently Abled Persons: Launched the “Citizen Services” project in 2023-2024 to provide voter ID and Aadhaar services specifically for differently-abled persons.
6. Specialized Aadhaar Enrollment Camps:
• Organized Aadhaar enrollment camps for transgenders, rehabilitation institutions, and jails.
• Conducted 42 school camps for new enrollments and mandatory biometric updates.
• Facilitated 54 home enrollments for bedridden individuals in the district.
7. Aadhaar Grievance Redressal Cell: Established and managed by the ADPO staff, the cell has resolved approximately 2,000 Aadhaar-related grievances from citizens through continuous follow-ups.
